Nate and I have ridden blue ridge about 5 times together on our motorcycles. We had some nice adventures together. The Blue Ridge Parkway extends 469 miles along the crests of the southern Appalachians and links two eastern national parks - Shenandoah and the Great Smoky Mountains. There is not one stop sign on the parkway and plenty of curve's, great for riding motorcycles. I enjoy riding with my son and sometimes Shelly (my wonderful wife) comes along to. The scenery is spectacular with views from mountain tops to riding along the purple rhododendron that in some places they are on both sides of the road to make a tunnel of flowers.
I enjoy looking at God's creation and being on my bike I feel like I'm in His creation I guess you have to had ridden a bike there to understand. I just can't understand how can anyone say the this world came from a "big bang". I just read that Scientists at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) have hit the switch to activate the nearly $9 billion Large Hadron Collider. But what will it produce—a mini big bang. Here is a surprise there never was a big bang what a waste of money. 9 billion dollars could have feed a lot people. ETERNITY
Hi, I just read the book In Light of Eternity by Randy Alcorn. If you ever wondered what heaven is like read this book. This world is not our home. The real adventure of life awaits you on the other side, with the person you were made for...and the place He's made for you.

Welcome
Thanks for coming by Rick's porch. When I lived with my parents on a little farm we sat on the back porch in the evenings and just talked. Dad would tell his story's about his adventures when he worked on the rail road and growing up in the hills of West Virginia. I don't remember doing any gossiping, just sharing our thoughts and dreams.
